Side Charging .308 Stripped Upper

Don’t want a nitride or nickel boron assembly? This is the stripped upper receiver version for building a side charging upper. Grab a Nickel Boron BCG. Or, if you’d prefer, a Nitride finished BCG.
This stripped upper still allows for the traditional charging handle, which acts as both an alternate charging method and a plug for the back of the receiver.
Please note that our 308 uppers are machined to a DPMS Gen 1 spec. We’ve learned from customer feedback: Profab ar308 upper receivers fit very tight to Aero Precision lower receivers, as Aero utilizes a smaller dimension for the lug pocket.

This is an incredibly well made side charging reciever ! All the custom AR’s I build for hunters now are side charging, I will not build the standard anymore because it is a joke compared to side charging!!!! I wouls love to see you guys build a non reciprocating off side charging one, like the new sig battle rifle or like the original G-3 or FN-FaL back in the day. Great work and all you guys need to do know is have me design a foregripo / handguard in the quadrail type formation, but make it narrower in the horizontal so that peoples hands can actually reach around them, I am thinking of a cross between, UTG’s and Daniel Defense , Hera and Gieslle….. My ideas are sick and will sell , Peace Fly
