About Us

Alexandria Pro-Fab Company, Inc. was started by Don Wilkins in 1976 with a specialization in welding. He started the company with a single used welder in the back of a rented shop in Alexandria. As a result of continued growth in those early years, Alexandria Pro-Fab moved to its current location in April of 1979. This move allowed for the adding of milling and turning services.

Since its inception, Alexandria Pro-Fab has established a reputation for delivering manufactured products of the highest quality while averaging 99.9% on-time delivery. Our continued focus has been to invest in our employees,  manufacturing equipment, and tools that produce close tolerance & critical parts efficiently. Due to our constant dedication to improving our quality process, we have become an industry leader through the use of documented inspections, statistical process control, a calibration program, corrective and preventative action programs, product ID, and traceability programs along with specialized inspection equipment.

Alexandria Pro-Fab has a thriving workforce of over 100 employees spread over 3 shifts and over 100,000 square feet of shop space. Each employee is highly skilled in their respective fields and trained to operate their machine(s) at optimum levels of performance. We are certified to the AS 9100D standard and are always pursuing internal process improvement programs. Our management team is also highly knowledgeable and skilled in their fields and is dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction and growing our business.

Throughout the years, Alexandria Pro-Fab has grown consistently from a small welding shop to a large facility specializing in CNC turning and milling machines along with robots, lathes, grinders, wire EDM, saws, small assembly, and open setups (R&D).
